4 different ways to fill in eyebrows perfectly.
Every woman looks great with shaped eyebrows as eyebrows are frames of the face. Once the entire makeup is complete and if the eyebrows are not filled, you will definitely notice something missing. Today, I am sharing a guide to the different ways in which the brows can be filled.
Brow pencil —
I recommend this technique to people with very scarce eyebrow hair. Brow pencils come in varying shades of light brown to black, with fuller coverage that help fill the gaps better and have a waxier formula than eyeliner pencils. Use short, light strokes to fill out your brows and soften it all out with your fingers for the brows to look natural and smooth without any harsh lines.
Brow powder (or matte eye shadow) —
For the most natural brows, use powder instead of pencil. This is my favorite way of shaping my brows. Since my brows are thick, they do not need much coverage, and using eye shadow to fill in some gaps creates a soft, natural look. Take an angled brush and apply shadow to sparse areas and spread evenly with the brush using very light strokes. Ideally, the inner part should be left slightly sparse with the arch and the tail being most defined. Just make sure to find the correct shade of the shadow. Never fill in your brows with black pencil – even if you have pitch black brows, fill them in with a matte dark brown.
Brow gel —
Clear brow gel is great for those who already have thick brows, and to keep fly away’s in place. Tinted brow gel adds a hint of color to the brows while shaping them. Another great way to tame the brows is by using vaseline. Try to go for brow powders or gels or pencils with a slight khaki tint to them because the brow hair naturally has a khaki undertone to it.
Brow pens/markers —
This is the most uncommon method of filling in the eyebrows. Like eyeliner pens, brow pens have a felt tip that distributes pigmented color on your brows. Many women I know are afraid to use them, as they feel that they are using a maker to draw. The great part about brow pens is that they last the longest and only come off with an oil based makeup remover. Use a light hand with feathery strokes for a naturally filled-in look.
And finally, if none of these methods work for you, just combine them! Experiment and find the best method for you! And in case if you are wondering what is the best eyebrow shape for your face structure, have a look at this image below—
