Do you wear glasses and shy away from makeup because you feel it’s a waste of your energy and time since nothing is going to show? You are surely in for a surprise as Zuri gives you some beauty tips for girls wearing glasses.
Makeup is all about having fun and ‘accentuating’ your features and not trying to ‘change’ them entirely. I have come across so many girls who wear funky, simple, casual, trendy glasses and would love to add a spark to their look even further by doing some eye makeup, but are not sure if the makeup would show through the frame. Here are 7 easy steps that will surely make your eyes ‘pop’ even through your lens.
Step 2: To add some depth in the crease area, add some matte shadow on the outer ‘V’ area of the eye up until the crease. Blend with a blending brush until all lines are hidden.
Step 3: If you love applying eyeliner, stick with colors from the same palette used earlier. Since I am sticking with earthy tones, I applied a brown kajal pencil as the eyeliner.
Step 4: A great way to make small eyes appear bigger (especially if you are wearing high minus lenses for nearsightedness) is by applying a white kajal pencil rather than a black.
Step 5: Apply one coat of mascara on the lashes to make the eyes appear wide open! If you have really long lashes, I’d suggest skipping this step as the lashes would keep hitting the lens of the frame by distracting from your work all day 🙂
Step 7: Apply some clear lip gloss and you are good to go!
