Here is a breakdown of 3 of our favorite celebrity bridal hairstyles that you can take inspiration from:

1. Priyanka Chopra – kundan headdress

In this stunning style, Priyanka shows off her gorgeous long and wavy locks and what uplifts the entire look is a her eye catching headdress. Made in the kundan style, it has large sized stones set in a stunning pattern to perfectly adorn her crown and make her look like a royal princess. To try this look for yourself, start by giving your hair slightly wavy curls and leave them loose draped across both shoulders. Use a hair spray to make sure your hair has enough body to hold the headdress. Now choose your preferred headdress pattern and drape it over your crown using pins. Spray some hair spray on the pins before you place them as that will give you better hold. For the makeup, she has opted for a natural dewy kind of makeup with a brownish red shade of lipstick. The eyes are slightly smokey to match the outfit and the dramatic eyeliner creates a stunningly regal effect.

2. Sonam Kapoor – the South Indian beauty

In this look, Sonam is channeling the gorgeous South Indian style with pearl jhumkas, flowers in her hair tied back into a bun and a gorgeous kancheevaram saree. To get this style, start by prepping your hair. Make a partition down the centre and leave the hair loose on either side. Taking the front section of the hair, take a small part and twist is inwards. As you keep moving lower, keep adding smaller sections of the hair until the front part is fully twisted. Secure it with a pin just behind the ear. Do this on the other side as well. Then take the rest of your hair from the back and roll it into a bun and secure it with pins. Take a gajra and place it all around your bun and secure it with a pin once again. For the makeup, opt for a natural, no-makeup look and paint your lips with an almost nude, dusky pink and top it off with some gloss. Wear a base coat of a light colored eye shadow in a nude palette, line your eyes delicately and top it off with mascara.Bridal hair and makeup looks 02

3. Katrina Kaif – sizzling style

Katrina Kaif shows us how to be a new age bride. If you are not one for conventional style and are waiting to try something new for your big day, then this is the look for you. In this style Katrina has colored her hair in a deep burgundy red shade that isn’t too bright but enough to look bold and fabulous. Opt for a color that is subtle but stands out and make sure to do it at least 2 to 3 weeks before your big day so that you can change it back if you aren’t happy with it. Style your hair in relaxed waves and drape them over one shoulder leaving the rest at the back. Part your hair down the middle and pin up your favorite maang-tika. Then using a parting comb, make a partition of the side of the head and drape that over the maang-tika part so that the chain is hidden from view. The makeup has subtle pink undertones while the eyes have a golden-bronze smokey eye shadow style. The lips are nude with plenty of gloss to help you sparkle on your big day.Bridal hair and makeup looks 03
