1. All-day detox water:
This is a concoction that you can make by the gallon and keep it in the fridge for sipping all day long. Simply take a jug of water and add a medium sized cucumber (thinly sliced), a couple of slices of grapefruit, a handful of mint leaves and squeeze in a lemon. Let it sit for at least two hours before consumption.
2. Apple & cider potion:
This brew is the gold standard for weight-loss as well as internal cleansing. Take a a jug of water infused with cinnamon (simply boil the water with cinnamon and let it cool). Add cupful of thinly diced apples, half a cup of apple cider vinegar and the juice of two lemons. Apples help promote the feeling of satiety, apple cider vinegar combats acne, breakouts and other complexion issues. Cinnamon also helps speed up the metabolism while the lemon juice prevents bloating and water retention.
3. Green beauty booster:
This concoction should ideally be consumed twice daily. Take fresh parsley, spinach, mint, cabbage and any other leafy vegetables of your choice. Wash them properly and blend them well. Add orange juice and if you like, a pinch of rock salt. Green leafy vegetables are low in fat and are brimming with dietary fiber, folic acid, vitamin C, potassium and magnesium, as well as several phytochemicals and antioxidants that boost internal glow.
