Select your favorite beauty theme and get inspired by pink eye makeup for a trendy-pretty look!
Though you may have heard otherwise, ladies with darker eyes can actually afford to be more playful when it comes to choosing eye makeup. From shimmering silver to baby pink, dark-eyed girls have the freedom to have fun with color because black or brown eyes rock every shade of makeup. Pink, mauve, purple, lavender and shades belonging to the pink family are universal, so anyone can pull off. The pink eye shadow look is sophisticated when done properly. If the pink shadow is soft and not super bright, we think it’s a beauty trend to try in 2016.
1. For the Romantics:
Try a rosy eye shadow with matching lip gloss to channel the flirty femininity in you. The look is clean and natural, and yet, super pretty. If you have pale skin, try Keira Knightley’s ultra-chic violet look to make your complexion pop. Use a shadow palette with a spectrum of purple hues. Groom your eyebrows using a medium-brown eyebrow pencil. For a fairy tale glow, try a soft smoky eye look with purple shimmering shadow. Use black liner on your waterline to enhance the brightness in your eyes. Megan Fox totally rocked this look on the cover of Esquire magazine.
2. For those who love vintage:
For a sexy mod look, try a cat eye with a vintage rose pink color. Start with a matte shadow in pink or peach hues to create a soft base. Using an intense black gel or liquid eyeliner, draw thick wings, applying the most color to the outermost corners of the eye. Since the world is raving over retro, take inspiration from Sophia Loren, who rocked the cat eye like no one else!
3. For those who like experimenting:
For a gorgeous feminine look, experiment with violet and pink tones. Apply darker shades to the creases of your lid and lighter shades to the corners of the eyes. Dust a light pink, white or cream matte shadow underneath your bottom lashes and finish with a hot pink lip. If you want it edgy, go the Kim Kardashian way. For those that like it subtle and dreamy, think Reese Witherspoon.
