You are only 6 steps and a few cosmetics away from achieving that perfect Shraddha Kapoor’s eye makeup looks for the ultimate festive season!
Shraddha Kapoor made her acting debut in the 2010 drama Teen Patti that also starred Amitabh Bachchan, Ben Kingsley and R Madhavan, but it is only recently that she has become a style and beauty icon. Shraddha is mostly seen in beautiful au naturel makeup with pink lips and dreamy eyes. Though she also experiments with smoky eyes, but casual eye makeup suits her the best. This is just the kind of look that works on a daily basis. And here is how you can achieve Shraddha Kapoor’s casual eye makeup looks..
1. Prep the Peepers:
If you notice carefully, Shraddha actually has deep-set small eyes. The best bet is to use shadowing to create the illusion of size around the eyes. And it is critical to use primer effectively, so that your eye makeup will stay all day and won’t migrate down your cheeks. This is the crucial first step to achieve Shraddha Kapoor’s casual eye makeup look. First, lightly apply concealer to cover any under eye darkness. Dust loose powder underneath the eye area to catch any shadow fallout. Next, apply a lid primer all over lids. Use a matte, color-free primer when all you want is a smooth, strong base and use a sparkly, colored primer when you want to amp up the finish or texture of your eye look. Less is definitely more when using primer and remember to blend and dab really well.
2. Line the lines:
This step calls for a good waterproof black kohl eyeliner pencil. Gently lift your lid to reveal your upper inner lash line. Smudge pencil gently into the inner lash area. Repeat for lower lash line (often called the waterline), if you like. For a softer day look, use a brown pencil or if you like intense eyes use a black liner.
3. Shadow And Line Again:
Next, using an eye shadow brush, apply brown powder shadow across the lid and into the crease of eyelid. Concentrate color towards the outer corners of eyes. Apply the eyeliner pencil again, thinly to line the top of your lash line. This will just enhance the inner line from step 2.
4. Smoke It Out:
Now, dip either a smudge brush (a Q-tip will work in a pinch) into the dark gray powder shadow. Blow any excess powder from the applicator then softly retrace the lined area. Basically, you are smoking out your liner by blending the pencil into the shadow. Start with a light layer of shadow first and gradually build the color. For extra drama, apply a small amount of gray shadow directly under lower lash line of each eye.

5. Highlight and Adjust:
Using an eye shadow brush, wash champagne pearlescent shadow from brow bone to lashes. Be sure to dab a bit in the corner of the eyes as well. Step back and look in the mirror. If the shadow looks too dark, sweep more champagne shadow across lid to tone down the darkness.
Shraddha Kapoor relies a lot on falsies to make her eyes appear bigger. If you aren’t up for applying false lashes, simply curl lashes and apply two coats of black mascara on both the upper and lower lashes. If it’s a yes for falsies, apply either a full strip or half strip to each eye. Applying false lashes does require a small amount of practice but holding the lash strip with tweezers works like a charm. Hold lash side of strip with tweezers and lightly apply adhesive to lash band. Allow adhesive to set for roughly 5 seconds. Then, gently apply lashes as close to lash line as possible. Work from the outside of the eye inward until secure. Be careful to not close eyes completely until adhesive is dry – you don’t want to glue your lids shut! Once lashes are set, apply two coats of black mascara.
Be sure to clean any smudges or shadow fall-out from the eye area. Balance your face by keeping lips and cheeks soft and sheer. A sheer nude gloss and subtle sweep of blush is all you need to go and conquer!
