1. Metallics with dark neutrals:

Its been a riot of color this year, but a sure shot winner has been the metallic shades. Be it a metallic dress or pants – if you’re wearing metallic, why not highlight your face and eyes with similar moody tones?  A warm, bronzy canvas is sultry, beautiful and subtle all at once. Remember to always choose a bronzer one shade deeper than your complexion so as to add dimension. Make sure to contour the forehead, cheeks and sides of the nose too.beauty-looks-02

Eyes: Fine blend a brown gold eye shadow along the entire lid and smudge a little bit on the lower lashline, too. For a more prominent look – add fake lashes too. A few coats of mascara finished by rimming the entire eye in black kohl pencil will be ideal.

2. Peachy glow and lush lashes:

You don’t need pounds of makeup to make a statement. In fact, pastels are a fresh, unexpected choice during winter months. A first place choice is to go with soft glowing skin and amazing eyelashes.

Get the look:

Eyes: A must is to get those fake lashes on! Inside tip – never use a full strip. Cut them into three or four pieces – that way they’re easier to apply and more flexible to wear too.

Cheeks: Rub on a a mild blush on or peach glaze on to your cheeks. Make sure you smooth a bit along your cheekbones.

Lips: A neutral shade of lipgloss or a light pink shade can add that little shine.beauty-looks-04 beauty-looks-05 beauty-looks-06

3. Dramatic Pink:

All year through we’ve seen red hot lips making heads turn. Lets up the ante and try dramatic pink lips now! It’s the end of the year, try a little experiment!

Get the look:

Eyes: Keep the eyes light. Maybe a black or navy liner with a little bit of eye shadow should be ok. Rub on some eye shadow on the lower lashline too. Black mascara on the top lashes keep the eyes striking but not heavy.

Lips: Go for the kill. Depending on your skin tone chose from a shades of pink that further accentuate your lip color.

Cheeks: Highlighter along the cheekbones, nose and forehead give the severe colors a touch of light.

Hair: Since you’re keeping the make up on the low, maybe you could amp up the hair! Try the favorite new hairstyle: it’s not a bun, it’s not a ponytail, it’s a ‘pun’.beauty-looks-07 beauty-looks-08 beauty-looks-09
