1. Plenty of antioxidants:

Say no to junk as much as possible, and invest in diets that have plenty of antioxidants in them. Fresh fruits and veggies- the darker the better is what you need to stock up your fridge with. Irrespective of the season, fruits and veggies would be available to consume all year round. This would ensure plenty of vitamins and minerals coming into the body; antioxidants too. Daily consumption of the same helps with cleaner digestive tracts in the body, which means no toxins accumulating and a radiant glow for good.better-skin-11

2. Drink plenty of water:

You win half the battle of good skin to have, when you drink enough of water everyday. Hydration for the body and the skin at large is a must, which is why gulping down at least eight glasses of water would be advised. What happens is when we drink enough of water, we flush out the pesky toxins in the body, and the skin stays radiant and glowy on the outside. Does this sound too much to endure and do? 3. Cleanse the face daily:

Before you wear your makeup and before you retire for the night, cleansing of the face is a must. You may use a simple DIY honey scrub (rub a teaspoon of honey on the face, wait for ten minutes and then wash off) or a coconut oil cleansing routine (same as the honey scrub) or use a conventional deep cleanser formula to remove dirt, grime and makeup from the skin. Ten minutes is all it takes to unclog the pores and remove the dirt.

4. Tone the skin:

If you don’t wish to use conventional commercial skin toners, you could use DIY ones. Rose petals or mint leaves, immersed in cold water and left overnight in the fridge can be the best natural toners to shrink pores. The water needs to be strained and poured into a mist bottle. Spray the mist on your face morning, noon and night- helps tone the skin and shrink pores so that no dirt and grime makes home on the skin.

5. Moisturize your skin:

Whether you have oily, dry to normal or sensitive skin condition, you need to pick up the right moisturizer or use a DIY method to get the skin moistened and hydrated. Moisturizing helps keep the skin soft and supple, which is why we advise doing the regime twice a day. For sensitive skin types, it would be wise to check with your skin doctor for the regimes best suited for the condition.
