You can get great results on how to apply nail polish from a home manicure with a bit of patience and a lot of practice.
How To Apply Nail Polish – Prep The Nails :-
Make sure your nails are completely clean and don’t have any traces of old nail polish.
Apply a transparent base coat first. To apply the base coat, dip the brush into the base coat and then draw the brush against the inside of the bottle opening to avoid too much polish on the brush. You want enough polish to make a few strokes on the nail, but not so much polish that it drips off the brush.
Start by applying the nail polish at the middle base of the nail. Place the brush on the nail at the cuticle and draw it to the tip of the nail in a single smooth motion.
After painting a single strip along the middle of the nail, place the brush back at the cuticle, to one side of the middle strip, and draw it to the tip of the nail in a single smooth motion. Repeat again on the other side of the middle strip.
Continue applying the polish in strips, from the base to the tip, until the entire nail is covered. Dip the brush into the nail polish as required.
How To Apply Nail Polish – Application –
Roll the bottle gently between your hands to mix the nail polish so that the color is homogeneous. Don’t shake the bottle since you don’t want any bubbles to form.
Draw the nail polish brush against the inside of the bottle opening just like you did with the base coat.
As before, start by applying the nail polish at the middle base of the nail. Place the brush at the cuticle and draw it to the tip of the nail in a single smooth motion. Continue applying nail polish on both sides of the middle strip until the entire nail is covered. Repeat this process on all the nails. Each nail should be covered with a single, relatively light layer of nail polish. Try to get as close to the base of the nail without painting on the skin. Apply a second layer of nail polish in the same manner, until the color is smooth and consistent. If the polish isn’t as thick or smooth as you’d like, apply a third layer of nail polish.
